As I am getting more and more in to filmmaking I want to study the form and history of the medium.

I have compiled a list of over 1600 movies that start in 1895 and go up to 2021 (at the moment) and I am watching them in order.

For each film I randomly assign a digital version of a traditional medium (ink, watercolour, oils, and charcoal), set a timer for 45 minutes, and create an illustration from that film.

I also write a short review which I publish here and on Letterboxd.
